Fixing a mistake made when trying to host wordpress.com site on www.ads-software.com

  • I was trying to find a way to move cnnrgb.wordpress.com over to a www.ads-software.com server I’d set up on docker desktop on windows. I changed some hosting setting on the .org site, and now I’m not able to access the site or the wordpress cms on localhost. I’m not sure what I did, but it had something to do with redirecting the .org page to the .com page.

    Put your dns back to wordpress.com’s IP. Export the site from tools->export. On the new site, use tools->import to import the file you just created. When done, point your DNS to the wp.org IP.
