Buggy product with terrible customer service

I created an account just to say how disappointed I am in this product. I bought the entire package back in 2020 when COVID was at its peak. I installed everything and noticed a few bugs which I reported using the ticket system on their website. I never got a response from their developers. I chalked it up to them being busy due to COVID so I followed up every few weeks hoping they would eventually reply. The only reply I ever got was basically them saying an issue I was having with my search results must be coming from another plugin or theme so I should contact those developers instead, but they never replied to the more important tickets. I was on my own but I stuck with their software since I already invested a lot of money and time. I eventually hired developers on Fiverr and did my own research to try to resolve all of their bugs until I got something that wasn’t perfect but good enough to work with. Fast forward 3 years and I am STILL struggling with this software. I even bought their software AGAIN a couple months ago with the hopes that they fixed the bugs over the last couple years. Nope! The bugs are still here and the only “solution” they have sent me in 3 years is to add a line of code to my functions.php file, which DID NOT fix the issue! Right now I have multiple support tickets open that they are not even acknowledging although I follow up every few weeks!
In case you’re wondering how major the bugs are:
- Sellers can request payments for items that they were already paid for! The developers actually admitted they are aware that sellers can “exploit” their plugin to request duplicate payments but they have not offered any way to prevent this or at least track it manually so I can make adjustments accordingly. My retail business is actually closing now due to this bug as well as the other issues caused by this plugin. Any seller can “exploit” this system by just following the normal instructions to make a request (so it’s really just a bug, not an exploit). I am THOUSANDS of dollars in debt now and I believe this software has something to do with it due to the duplicate payments bug.
- Vendor IDs are stripped out of orders whenever a payment fails. This causes all kinds of problems later down including the seller seeing an outstanding balance but not being able to request payment for that product.
- Some admins and sellers cannot view any data related to their purchases. Even our accountant can’t see the withdrawal requests made by sellers! He has to ask me to log in and send him a screenshot from my account since it somehow works for me.
- Some AJAX features do not work. I cannot do things like bulk update products so I have to sometimes updates products one-by-one.
I have lots more complaints with this product but I will end it here. Good luck getting WCFM to work for your business. This product has potential but the non-existent customer support as well as the major bugs affecting our finances as well as the technical operation of our website is enough for me to walk away from it and never look back.
