    The Woocommerce tax calculation is wrong. It is failing to deduct refunded taxes when an item is returned making it report more tax being collected for the month than the actual amount.

    I understand that tax calculation is not being deducted for returned orders on your site, correct?

    On my personal site, when I refund orders this is what I’m seeing on my end. The column for the tax rate is also editable wherein you can input the amount you would like to refund.

    Can you please share with us the step by step procedure you did when processing refunds on your site?

    To be open, the following numbers are fictitious but proportional to the sales and tax number in question. On gross sales of $27,955.70 USD and a tax rate of 6.75%, the net sales are $26,188.00 USD. So Woocommerce should have collected $1,767.70 USD in tax. However, in Woocommerce/Reports/Taxes it says it collected $1,780.20 USD in tax for a difference of $12.50 USD. We had returns totaling $202.72 of which $12.82 is tax. Something is not calculating correctly and the rounding of numbers is playing a factor.

    Can you provide a screenshot of your tax settings, i.e. WooCommerce ? settings ? tax? And one screenshot of your Standard rates, please?

    May I ask if you switch temporarily the site theme to Storefront, and then disable all plugins except for WooCommerce, is the report working as expected? If yes, it means that you can switch back the theme to the original, and then reactivate the rest of the plugins, one by one and checking again after each reactivation, until you find the cause of the issue.

    Switching to Storefront and disabling all plugins except Woocommerce show the same numbers in Woocommerce/Reports/Orders and Taxes tabs.

    Sorry to hear that the issue persists after performing a conflict test.

    Sorry for asking, can you to provide a copy of your site’s System Status, please? That will help to investigate further. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.?

    And please share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (if any).

    Thanks for sending the errors.

    To be open, the following numbers are fictitious but proportional to the sales and tax number in question. On gross sales of $27,955.70 USD and a tax rate of 6.75%, the net sales are $26,188.00 USD. So Woocommerce should have collected $1,767.70 USD in tax. However, in Woocommerce/Reports/Taxes it says it collected $1,780.20 USD in tax for a difference of $12.50 USD. We had returns totaling $202.72 of which $12.82 is tax. Something is not calculating correctly and the rounding of numbers is playing a factor.

    It is difficult to say without screenshots of the issue, when processing a refund, transaction fees charged by the payment gateway are not refunded, [more info]. Is the discrepancy perhaps related to this?

    I was on my testing site that is using WooCommerce 7.5.1 and Storefront theme, I created an order, then refunded it, but I could not see a discrepancy, I checked under WooCommerce > reports > errors > taxes. Also checked under Analytics > taxes, but the issue is not present on my end.

    Can you please check if the discrepancy appears when checking the taxes by date or by code? It would be great if you provide a screenshot, so that we can check better.

    After Refunded 1 Qty Refunded Amount Included Product tax. Remainig product should have 4 and Tax Should According to 4 Qty
