    Hi!

When I use the shortcode [membership level=”1″] after the teaser visible for logged out users in the beggining of the post (in order to show a teaser excerpt), this teaser is not showing because Paid Membership Pro protects the entire post via the category protection (my post is in the category “members”).

Is there a way to protect the post entirely if there is no shortcode, but let the shortcode works if there is one even if the post is inside a protected category? How to do that?

    Thanks !

    Hello @evo252 ,

I’m sorry, but we do not have a way to allow access to content you have marked restricted based on your shortcode. This might be possible with custom development from your own developer.

I would suggest using a different category to show the content. Or, If you want to allow some content, you could use the custom excerpts to display and add your “teaser” text there.

I hope one of these suggestions is helpful to you.

    Hi,

Thanks a lot for your reply.

I have enabled the “excerpt” setting on Paid Membership Pro plugin and via the “More” tag, it’s now working perfectly: logged out users can only see the teaser.

    Thanks a lot!!
