Robots.txt Issue After Update

  • After Recent Update, lots of things have been changed in Yoast and causing issues with Search Console,

    1)- Robots.txt file not working properly

    2)- File Editor<Tools>Yoast is removed from latest version.

    How can we locate or fix or create robots.txt file in latest version of Yoast?

    Can anybody here to guide or explain this issue

    Because, Search Console is started listing errors suddenly “robots.txt file not ferchable

    This issue is on all my websites

    We understand that you’ve recently had trouble editing your robots.txt file through Yoast SEO. I can imagine how frustrating it’s when that happens.

    In the latest version of Yoast SEO (v20.4) you can still edit your robots.txt under Yoast SEO > Tools > File Editor. Please note that, if the?robots.txt?file is not writable or your WordPress install has?disabled file editing, you won’t be able to edit the robots.txt through Yoast SEO.
