Unsaved Changes

  • When I use site editor to try and edit the front page of my startupzy theme, it immediately says that there is 1 unsaved change. When I make any changes to my page, a couple block groups from the front page are deleted. When I inspect the HTML, it appears that a few changes are being made, even though I have not changed anything myself.
    It appears that the main change is a id="forum" is being taken out. Any ideas what could be going wrong here? We tried updating wordpress and that didn’t solve anything.

    Could you send me some screenshots of the issue?
    And could you also copy the system status in Dashboard->Gutenverse->System Status?

    Also, before you installed the Gutenverse plugin, do you already have any changes in your front page template?

    Yes, I can send screenshots. Do you have an email where I can send them?
    Yes, I made a few changes to the front page template, as you can tell from the link above. They were minimal changes, just adding a few text boxes here and there. I made these after I had installed Gutenverse as far as I remember.

    You can upload screenshots to public image sharing sites and share the links here. Or use google drive where you can delete it later if you need to.

    Hi @wlggraham

    Do you install any plugins related to blocks?
    Also are you sure you didn’t delete the content yourself?
    The theme should not be able to delete content automatically without user consent.

    I’m definitely not deleting it. I can make a single addition to the front page, a comma for example, and when I save it will delete several of the blocks on the page. I have included a video for what I am doing in the drive:

    As far as other block plugins, I don’t think installed any. Are there any I should need in order for the theme to work properly?

    This case is quite odd.
    Could you list all the plugins you installed?
    If you have Gutenverse installed, you can copy the system status in Dashboard->Gutenverse->System Status instead.

    We need to try replicating the issue on our side.
