    Hi,

A couple of days ago, I managed to make a form with the desired lay-out. But when checking again (after an update to 6.2?), the lay-out just doesn’t show anymore. I’ve jumped from contact form 7 to WPForms, which looked promising to be honest. But if I can’t get this to work properly, it’s no use I’m afraid.

I’d like to have most of these fields (short link deleted, don’t use those) in 3 columns per row next to each other. The css is straightforward, under “advanced options” I’ve set the css class to: “wpforms-one-third wpforms-first” for the first column and “wpforms-one-third” for the 2 other columns in the same row.

A big thanks for the help!

  • Hey @chaoske – Thanks for reaching out!

When you have some time, could you check if the Modern Markup option is enabled in WPForms > Settings > General when you have some free time? To give you some context, the CSS layout classes will only function in Classic markup mode. Therefore, if the Modern Markup option is turned on, kindly deselect it and let me know if this resolves the problem.

    hi Rai,

Thanks for your reply. I have version 1.8.1.2 of the WPForms (lite) plugin. I’ve double checked using this video (https://wpforms.com/introducing-wpforms-1-8-1-form-styling-options-are-here/) at 1:42 where it shows the “Use Modern Markup” option.

In my installed version, it’s not visible however.

Hey @chaoske – Thanks for following on this ticket!

When you have some time, can you please share the export copy of the form and share using a file sharing application like Google Drive so I can take a closer look?

    Kindly,

Hey @chaoske – We haven’t heard back from you since my previous message, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks!
