Is WordPress right for me?

  • I’m a mental health columnist with a very dedicted readership in the newspaper. I’m tired of making $2 an hour on my column and then having it reprinted all over the web. Is there some way that a blog might help me? I’m new to all this…

    If you don’t want your work reprinted on the web, don’t publish it on the web.

    Well, since you have a decent following in the newspaper, you could start a blog. If you drive enough traffic to it, you could make money with Google Adsense and maybe even a little affiliate marketing.

    This goes deeper than WordPress or blogging. I’d say this is a business or marketing question.
