Visual buttons and editor itself not working

The visual editor on my wordpress blog just completely stopped working. (See attached image). I tried disabling the plugins. That didn’t work. “Disable the visual editor when writing” is not checked. What has changed is that I moved my wordpless blog from a “working” directory to the root folder. Everything else seems to work, but not the visual editor.
