• The staff person who used to manage our WordPress site has left. My experience with WordPress is minimal. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The instructions that were left to add a banner ad to the top of the page, next to the header are not correct. I was told that I could add/change the banner ad by going to Appearance>General>Advertisments>Header. However, there is no option “General” or “Advertisement” in the Appearance menu. Where can I find the area to change the banner ad?

It also appears that the sidebar that had been used was deleted. I can see the widgets that were removed under “Inactive” – how do I get recreate the sidebar and add it to the page?

I apologize for my lack of knowledge…this task was given to me with minimal instructions left by the previous staff person who worked on this.

The theme used is “Chirps Child Theme”. We are using WordPress 6.0.

    Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

Sorry it took so long to get a reply to you. It looks like you managed to figure out a solution in the interim? If you’ve indeed resolved this, when you have a moment would you please mark this topic as resolved? Thanks!

So this has no banner ad?

The HTML classes for the right hand element are “g1-banner” and “g1-ad-1”. Looks like a banner ad to me ??

I’m guessing if you want to add to or replace the current banner, it’d be through what ever this “G1” feature is.
