    Hi guys,

I just found out that the link to section via the menu does not work properly, it always starts with a website/#section and then changes into website/#section!loading and reloads the whole page (and then moving to the selected section again).

I did not change anything, except that the new site was built on a subdomain which then was changed into the correct one. The error occured when the subdomain was still written in the custom link menu (neu.website/#section) which did work, probably as there is a redirect in the domain provider settings.

I did change the custom link to the correct adress, still the problem with !loading in the adress occurs.

I’m a little lost where to search, dont think its a theme problem but a different one.

Hope you guys have an idea ??

    Kind regards, Niko

  • The redirection is caused by a script of the plugin “jupiter-donut”. This in turn seems to be a companion plugin for the commercial theme “Jupiter” you are using. Apparently this is no longer offered by the developer.

I see the following possible solutions for you:
    a) You could deactivate the plugin jupiter-donut. I can not judge what that would mean for your project.
    b) You could contact the theme developer: https://themeforest.net/user/artbees – since you bought the theme, you are entitled to support from them. However, he doesn’t seem to offer the theme anymore, which could lead to a problem.
    c) Change the theme. There are thousands of free and paid themes you could use.

Again, as a hint: the theme you are using, which is causing the problem, is commercial. Questions about commercial products are not allowed here in the forum.

    Hi threadi,

    thank you very much!

For everything, tracking the cause, pointing me in the right direction with your explanation and not the least with that hint of the guidelines. Sometimes its hard know all the rules ??

I’ll test those options and maybe contact the developer after. Without saying too much in this direction to follow the guidelines, its kind of annoying when you have a paid software, eg theme, and you have to additionally pay for a “support subscription” to receive support. So even from this side its good that these forum have guidelines, its not your task to do their job ??

Thank you again, have a nice weekend!

    Kind regards, Niko
