Hello – a vendor requested a reverse withdrawal to paypal and we approved it. After looking at his paypal however, we confirmed that the payment was NOT received, however in this withdrawal dashboard it says that there was a payment made this his paypal.

Can we get some support on this immediately?

    Hi @transparentmarketplace,

It appears that I am having difficulties understanding the point. Dokan Reverse Withdrawal feature designed for marketplace admin. Admin can receive the admin commission for the purchase made with Cash On Delivery method. So, it sound like you mention about vendor withdrawal methods. You also mentioned about PayPal payment gateway and also mention withdrawal requests by vendors. So, it sounds like you mentioned a non-adaptive PayPal payment gateway

For any non-adaptive payment gateways admin needs to manually transfer the vendor earnings to each vendor. Any default functionality is unavailable to manage the transfer automatically.

I hope this information will help.

    Thanks!

    Hi @fayeakuzzaman

Thanks — I meant to say Withdrawal instead of Reverse Withdrawal. I am the admin and I approved the Withdrawal request. In the dokan dashboard, it says I’ve approved it and sent the payment to the vendor’s paypal but the vendor does not see any payment come through to his Paypal. Furthermore I nor the vendor received any communication from paypal that a deposit was made.

The vendor no longer has the option to withdraw funds from his end because he said the withdrawal was already approved and the funds were sent to paypal, but he has not receipt of the payment. Any idea what happened to the money?

    Hi @transparentmarketplace,

Withdraw request is a way for the vendor to get the vendor earnings whenever the customer paid using any non-adaptive payment gateway solution.

In a non-adaptive payment gateway, when a customer purchases a product that time the whole product price will go to the admin account. In that case, vendors are allowed to see their earning amount. Admin needs to set a minimum withdrawal limit. When a vendor will reach that limit he/she can send a withdrawal request to the admin. After that, the admin will approve his request and send vendor revenue manually to their account. To make it easier to understand for our vendors and admin, we offer the calculation. However, the transfer didn’t take place automatically. Admin needs to manually transfer the amount to vendors.

I hope this information will help.

    Thanks!

@fayeakuzzaman I see — so all payments are sent to the admin and the admin must manually transfer funds to the vendor through bank or paypal? Thanks for clarifying — let me know if I am misunderstanding.

    Hi @transparentmarketplace,

You clearly understood my points. In the Dokan non-adaptive payment gateway solution, admin will receive the full amount whenever customer complete the purchase. Then based on the commission setup, vendor will be able to request for withdrawal. After approving the withdraw request in the system, admin need to transfer the vendor earnings to their preferable payment gateway. I believe this information will assist you to be more certain about the withdraw functionality.

    Thanks!
