    Hello, WPeMatico team!

I couldn’t make WPeMatico to work correctly with this feed:
    https://www.trialog-magazin.de/feed/

The post is created but it has no featured image. No image is saved in the media library.

Taking a look at the feed, it has the image URLs in the “media:content”. Is this a problem for WPeMatico? I have tried other feeds and WPeMatico only sets a featured image when the “img” tag is there.

    Hi @marceljm

    Please allow me to explain.

WPeMatico FREE gets the content and images directly from the or tags of the feed items.

Analyzing the feed you’re trying to use you will notice that the images are not added inside the tags I mentioned before.

On the other hand, the paid version includes features to get images from <enclosure> or <media> tags of the feed items and even from the Open Graph protocol <meta og:image> if it’s available in the source site.

I invite you to take a look at this article where you will have more information about featured images and how to get them depending on the scenario.

    Manuel
