Add Image at top of Page but Exclude from Gallery?

    I want to start my page with a large image of a group of pottery and then have an image gallery for the individual pottery items – but to have the first “group image” EXCLUDED from this group.

    How do I do this – I’ve created a rough idea at https://www.eticapromotions.co.uk/?page_id=244 and once I can get this working how I want the customer can then add the real images in and also create lots of similar pages.

    To anyone else who encounters this problem, I’ve solved it by adding the first image and text via the WP-Table Reloaded plugin – this seems to enable you to insert an image into the table that is not linked to the page. Then I have the WordPress gallery.
