Mobile menu does not disappear after click

  • I am creating a website with generatepress theme. I have problems with my main menu both on desktop and mobile modes. On desktop, i have a menu item with sub-menus. The sub menus appear on hover. The problem is; after clicking on one of those sub menu items, the submenu drop down does not disappear. i have to click outside somewhere to have it disappear. On mobile, when i click on a menu item or sub-menu item, the menu container does not close automatically. I have to close the menu manually. how do i solve these problems?

    The menu structure you are using is quite rare, all links are anchor links on the same page, and clicking on any of the menu items will NOT refresh the page.

    Unfortunately, it will require custom development to change that behaviour.
