Nothing works after migration until weird fix

    when i migrate my site everything works fine at first sight. but editing a page with elementor or adding new pages etc does not work.
    It only works again after I pressed Save Changes under Settings/Permalinks. Is this a known bug?
    After that everything works normal again.

    Hello @murri

    That can be because sometimes after replacement of domain names, either the rewrite rules or link caches are not updated yet.

    In that case, the solution is to go to WordPress admin dashboard of the target site > Settings > Permalinks and click on Save Changes button.
