Annoying and Frustrating To Use

  • Everytime my page refreshes or new updates are done from WordPress, I have to reconnect site kit again and again and again! Not 1 week can pass without it needing to be reconnected and setup again.

    It’s annoying and frustrating as everytime that I have to reconnect all my data are gone and I have to wait once again for days at end for it to gather enough data to give me reports on my website traffic.

    Im going to look for a more reliable and less annoying analytics plugin.

    Sorry to hear of your experience and in turn review @bellakaroo. While I didn’t see a support topic open from where we could assist I would be happy to work with you to ensure you don’t become disconnected constantly. I can completely understand the frustration.

    To start, I will mention what I suspect may be happening. If you’re using a plugin that changes your SALT keys, Site Kit depends on these constants to reliable connect with your site. We’ve seen cases where users are changing their SALT keys regularly, resulting in the same as you’re experiencing. If you’d like to share your Site Health information I’d be happy to check your set up. If this is the case, there is a Site Kit constant you can define to ensure you stay connected.

    If we determine it’s not an issue with your SALT keys, we can perform some additional troubleshooting, which may include checking your third party plugin configurations or hosting setup.
