Hi, I have some custom user roles (Wholesale) set up and some products have a wholesale as well as regular price. When I try to create a new order for one of these custom users, the recalculate button on the order screen removes any added items. It also doesn’t let me add more than one product in the item details table. Everytime I add a new item, it just replaces the previous one. If I try to save the order, the items are not saved but the order is (if it’s for a wholesale customer). If I deactivate your plugin, the recalculate button does not remove the items and I can add more than one product to the order. Is your plugin designed to work with custom user roles and prices? Or is there something else going on here?

Hi, thanks for your query! The order modifier plugin aims to be price agnostic, in that it doesn’t care where pricing is set or comes from, e.g. product pricing, sale pricing or in this case, role based pricing. It only looks at the line item pricing of the order in question. The issue you are experiencing seems more likely to be a problem of plugin compatibility and something in the way the custom pricing is applied could be conflicting with the way our plugin works.

We would like to solve this if we can because it’s likely that other users using the same plugin are affected as well. If possible would you be willing to share a link to the plugin you are using to set up the custom user roles and pricing tables as well as screenshot of a dummy product with multiple pricing applied and allow us a few days to investigate and look for a fix for this on our end?

I’m using the WooCommerce Wholesale Pro plugin by Barn2 WooCommerce Wholesale Pro Plugin: B2B Pricing & Order Forms (barn2.com).

Hi there, thank you for the additional info and the screenshot, from your other thread I do just want to confirm that you are experiencing this issue of the free version and not the premium version of the plugin as changes to one may not necessarily translate to the other. If you are using the premium version and experiencing this issue, please submit a support ticket from your premium WooCommerce support portal here (https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/). In the meantime we will investigate and run tests on the free version to see if we can replicate the issue you are facing.

I trust the above is in order, I am keeping this ticket open for now while we investigate.

Hi there, hope you’re well, we just wanted to give you an update on this issue that we have reached out to Barn2 regarding this issue and they have graciously provided us with a copy of their WooCommerce Wholesale Pro plugin for us to test with. We are currently testing with this plugin and we will update this ticket with our findings. Just wanted to let you know that we are still working on this!

Hi there, hope you’re well. Just an update that we believe we have found and fixed the the conflict with the WooCommerce Wholesale Pro plugin and line items should no longer be disappearing. We have released this fix as part of version 1.0.8 of the. RD Order Modifier for WooCommerce plugin. Please let us know if the issue is fixed for you or not. I am going to mark the issue as resolved for now.
