localStorage access
-
Hi team!
This is the first time I write to you, before I start I want to thank you for all your work, you have developed a wonderful Plugin.
Throughout my experience with UM I have had minor problems that thanks to you and the community I have been solving, however this time it is different.
I am currently using a Video Player that has the possibility of saving the moment in which the video was left so that the next time it starts from the same place, but when I use the UM function ‘Site accessible to connected users’ and I use the refresh or I close the browser and open it again something is blocking the obtaining of the data that the player saves in the browser.
I contacted the developers of the Video Player Plugin and they have helped me in what they could but it is UM that is blocking access to that data, when I deactivate UM it works correctly.
The information that the developers of the Video Player gave me is that the data that the Video Player saves is stored in the ‘localStorage’ of the browser, but apparently there is a filter or a UM function that blocks or disables the communication of the Video Player with the localStorage.
I am going to send you 2 URLs so that you can evaluate it:
- URL with the site function accessible to UM connected users
https://avanciweb.com/play - URL without UM function (UM – URL excluded from access blocking)
https://avanciweb.com/player
I hope you can help me. Greetings.
The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
