• Dear MailPoet Support Team,

I am currently testing your plugin to see if this would be a good substitute for the outdated plugin we currently use.

I do have run into a small issue where it seems the guest author is not shown correctly. Instead it will show the original post author.

I assume this is a plugin incompatibility with molongui, so I was wondering if it is possible to use some sort of filter or hook to add the correct (guest) author to the generated list of posts in our newsletter.

any help with troubleshooting is greatly appreciated

    Hi there @mrneedle ????!

Thank you for reaching out to MailPoet Support!

I assume this is a plugin incompatibility with molongui, so I was wondering if it is possible to use some sort of filter or hook to add the correct (guest) author to the generated list of posts in our newsletter.

This is not possible with the MailPoet plugin out of the box.

However, it might be possible with some custom code. If you need help with custom code, you can reach out to someone from Codeable: https://codeable.io (affiliate link).

You’re also welcome to add it as a suggestion here https://feedback.mailpoet.com

Our team will take it into account when discussing new features and improvements for the plugin ??

    Cheers!

    Hi Dani,

Thank you for your reply. I was able to use “mailpoet_custom_shortcode” to write a shortcode that displays all the post from the last 24hours with the correct author. But I still need to use the “automatic latest content” block to be to sent a Post notification every night. As a workaround is there a way to use “automatic latest content” block and then hide it?
