Big problem with my site. I’ve got a site using a variation of the Classic theme and all my Pages are showing up as white, blank pages. The pages with posts show up just fine so I’m a bit puzzled as to why the pages show up as blank. I turned off all plugins and nothing changed. I also switched to other themes and the pages show up. So how can I further troubleshoot this theme?

  • does your theme have a page.php ?

and what is the code within page.php ?

No, it does not. It’s the classic theme. I was wondering where page.php was in that theme.

Even so, when I revert to the original classic theme, the pages show up.

as you seem to have made (substantial) edits to the original theme, you could paste the code of index.php into a https://wordpress.pastebin.com/ and post the link to it here.

    (maybe the same with header.php)

    Sure, here’s the Index page:

    And here’s the header page:

    have you checked it lately?

it seems to be working – ‘about ladobe’ and ‘contact’ etc all show up fine.

maybe it was something out of your control – the server or so – and it got fixed.

Because I just fixed it. Turns out deleting, not adding, the page.php file got rid of it. Thanks.
