Duplicate, Google chose different canonical than user

    Hey guys,

    I have implemented hreflang with Translatepress, however, I am getting a bunch of “Duplicate, Google chose different canonical than user” errors in the search console.

    I have inspected these pages and can see:
    – They correctly reference link rel=”alternate” for x-default, en-NZ, en-AU and en
    – They correctly self-canonicalize
    – The sitemap contains correct hreflang attributes

    So why am I getting duplicate content warnings?
