Preserving items in cart

  • Hello James,

    Is it possible to expire the item reservation, without actually removing it from the cart?

    I know it may sound like a strange request, but our customers used to keep things in the cart for days before checkout.

    Now they found the cart emptied and some find it annoying…

    So, if we could “reserve for X hour” but then leave it in the cart with no reservation, would be great.

    Unfortunately I do not have any spare cycles right now. I know there was another commercial vendor selling a similar plugin, maybe they would be able to extend their plugin for you. I don’t recall the name offhand, but if you search for the name of this plugin you’ll find it, they have a post saying how much faster their plugin is vs an old version of this one.
