Products are being randomly “removed” from their categories

    Dear community,

    I’m having this very very weird problem on woo. Some products are assigned to different categories, and something is causing prodcuts to be removed from certain categories.

    When I get the list with the problematic products in the backend, it’s shows missing a category but when I enter the product on the category widget I can see it is assigned.

    Weird huh?

    Has anyone ever encountered such problem? Any ideas ? I have tried to remove and reassign categories to products but after a couple of days the issue resurfaced again.

    And now I’m having products randomly having zero pricing showing on product list view & front end as well and when you edit the product price is there but in order to fix it you have to remove the price, save the product, enter the price again and resave. Weird stuff are going on guys, any insight on this?

    It seems like quite an unusual issue you’re experiencing.

    May I ask are the categories being added manually to the products? Or via CSV upload?

    It might be some conflict caused by a plugin that’s causing this issue. You will want to run a conflict test to help you find the cause. More info: https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

    You can update your Permalinks: Go to Settings > Permalinks, and just hit “save changes”, this has been known to reset them, see if that helps to solve the issue. You can clear the cache as well to see if this is related to the issue.
