• Is there a way to set up a checkbox condition so that people only get added to the email list when they check the checkbox, to make it GDPR compliant?

I had this with my ActiveCampaign integration with Gravity Forms and am switching to MailerLite, but I’m not seeing the option for this.

I currently have it so that when people check the email permissions checkbox box I have set up on my Gravity Form, they get added to my ActiveCampaign email list and tagged, and if they don’t check it, of course they don’t get added.

Otherwise, I won’t be able to use this for MailerLite and I’ll have to do it manually, unless I can find another plugin, because I can’t have it adding people to my email list without their explicit permission. ??

I suppose that you can use the conditional check that is already in the form. Did you see it?

But that’s not what Gravity Form’s conditional logic is for. That won’t accomplish the goal. I have the checkbox, but the conditional logic for on the form itself, for the checkbox, is to only display the checkbox based on what other fields are selected: “Conditional logic allows you to change what the user sees depending on the fields they select.”

It’s not possible from that setting to only transfer the data to email marketing if the box is checked.

The conditional logic needs to be in the FormsCRM MailerLite settings for an IF THIS/THEN THAT scenario, where you can say IF this checkbox is checked on the form, THEN the contact is added to the email list/group. And then that action only happens when the box on the form is checked.
