Hi, whenever i google my page, google pops up 2 results – both of them are broken links as it seems. Screenshot

I have checked and double checked for broken links and as far i as i can see those 2 are not broken. I have also checked my pages and posts for those links and they do not exist as active ones.

    Hello @mercilesss

Thanks for reaching out about your site’s search apperance. When I performed a site search, I could replicate the same. I suspect these two pages existed on your site before but have been deleted so they automatically throw a 404 error – uslugi and za-nas.

With time, Google will drop them off their index, but you can re-submit your sitemap so Google recrawls your sitemap to update their index.

Thank you for the quick reply. So basically you are saying i just need to give it some time before those 2 broken links drop out of indexing. In some time Google will start indexing the correct ones?

Yes, that’s correct. If you can identify a good redirect target for the URL (one that has the same or very similar content), you can set up a 301 redirect.

Even if you don’t create a redirect for that 404 URL, Google will eventually find out that the URL isn’t available on your website and will stop showing a 404 error for it. If you want to learn more about 404 errors, please refer to this post:?https://yoast.com/404-error-pages-checking/

According to Google, if some URLs on your site are a 404 error, this fact alone does not hurt you or count against you in Google’s search results.?
