Problems with Paypal donations on my website

    I have a WordPress site and I have troubleshot and configured a Paypal plugin to accept donations. It used to work, but when I checked it I got this huge error message.

    This organization can’t accept donations right now.

    I Googled but I didn’t see any fixes, most of the hits were from other plugins a couple of years ago.

    I’m uncertain if this is a Paypal or plugin issue, so I am posting here.

    Hi, do you have a personal or business account with PayPal? Also are you running a cache plugin in your site?

    I think it’s a personal account. I don’t know what is a cache plugin, just the normal one.

    Is it an issue with the shortcode?

    I believe your issue should be resolved if you upgrade your personal account to a business account. PayPal business account is free. Check the following link?

    Also, the business accounts allows you to accept donations from around the globe.

    Nope, exact same issue. A reddit user said it might have been because I didn’t accept the AUP?

    What shortcode are you currently using? The following is a cache plugin.

    Hi, that is not the shortcode our plugin uses. Our plugin uses the following shortcode.
