• Hi

    Thanks for this plugin.

The problem im facing is this shows all the coupon codes in product page. It doesnt validate if the coupon is applicable for that product or not. Like if i create a code for pants category (not shirts), this also shows on shirts or any other products. how to disable it?

    Thank you

Looks like I found the bug. When fixed cart discount is selected, the coupon is showing on all the products globally, its not honouring the product category restriction.
But when percentage is selected, its honouring the product category restriction.

Also when all the coupons are showing on cart page, its difficult for customers to understand which coupon does what. Like showing 3 10% OFF coupons but does not showing which is for what products. It will be great if you show the coupon description in the coupon box.

Please fix/add this and make this a wonderful plugin.

    Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

For the fixed cart discount coupon, it’s showing but does not allow to be applied if the restricted product is added to cart. We’ll consider changing this display in the future update.

For coupon description, you can add it in the coupon settings here: https://nimb.ws/chkuMm

    Best regards.

    Hi

In fixed cart discount, it shows on all the products, not ONLY in restricted product categories. I think you got me right. Yes, a future update will be great.

Also is it possible to add a feature like coupon expiry countdown instead of coupon expiry date?

Also a shortcode feature will be good to show coupons via code in various places.

Thank you for this wonderful plugin anyway.

    Hi,

It’s unfortunate that for now we haven’t integrated a countdown timer for coupon expiry date yet, also the a shortcode to show available coupons. But we’ll take them into consideration. Thank you for bringing up the excellent ideas!

    I appreciate your response.

I have one final question: When a product page is opened, does this plugin retrieve and display promo codes through an AJAX request or statically? Furthermore, if there is a cached product page (by caching plugin), does the plugin still initiate a PHP/DB request?

    Hi,

No, our plugin does not use ajax request in that case. We haven’t checked the other cache issue specifically, please test it with your current cache plugin.
