• When I create a page, is it possible to set a default so that all the posts are NOT listed, as it would take a fair amount of time if the number of posts is large.

I am referring to the section “Select posts explicitly (Additionally to your Selection.)”

So you want to show all post by default but want to exclude some posts you can select?

Hi. I wasn’t sure if I had explained it correctly, and I don’t think I did.

I am playing around with this plugin, which does look very good, but when adding a new page, your plugin adds various options to the bottom of the page creation..
    First one is
Select posts by category: which lists all the categories, and is fine, this allows the options I need.

The 2nd is “Select posts by tag” a good option, followed by:
“Select posts by author”, and then the big one.. “Select posts explicitly (Additionally to your Selection.)” which lists every post on the site, and adds about 10-15 seconds to the page load time, when there is about 1,500 posts.

I think an option to NOT have this bit appearing would be handy for those with many posts. Ideally, an option to show them only if required.

I’ve looked at this plugin for the last 2 days now, and it does appear very good, especially for someone like myself who isn’t really up on program code.

I did also notice that an option to set a default of choice for ordering would be nice. I think the current default is order by date, and by descending.

Ok, you need an option to hide the “Select Posts explicitly” section in the meta box. I will put it on my ToDo List. ??

I’ve included this feature in the Pro Version of the Plugin.

Hi – I have somewhat of a follow up question.

When I am checking off various quotes TO INCLUDE on a certain page – i.e. – Select posts explicitly (Additionally to your Selection.) … these posts are NOT showing up on the page.

So I am stumped? I use the associate posts by category and that works fine, but when I try to explicitly add a few … – no good, they do not appear.

    Why is this?

    Thanks,

    JMW
