• I’n new to WP. I want to create a website with (unsurprisingly) multiple pages. WP comes with the home page where the posts are displayed, but does anyone know how I create further pages to contain posts, and how do I control which posts are displayed on a particular page?

(I can see how to create new pages but these don’t seem to be for posts just static content. Also, any new pages don’t seem to use the default theme page layouts).

  • I am looking for the same answer, so if someone could help us out that would be great! Thanks.

Me too. I have looked at the forum answers for “one site, multiple blogs” but I can’t understand how to do the answers.
    My situation:
I’m building a website for a client (a shop with a cafe included)
On this ONE website I want to have a blog page for the shop
    AND ALSO
A separate blog page for the cafe.
Two separate blogs on the one website.
So when I go into WordPress to make a new post, I want to be able to choose which blog it goes to. Can’t find any way to do that.
People talk about Categories, but I can’t find understandable instructions on how to use them to run 2 separate blogs….
Since WordPress is all about blogging, I can’t believe that you are stuck with only one blog on a site….
Can anyone help, in beginner language?
