Set event date via WordPress REST API

Is it possible to set the event date via the WordPress REST API?
I’m trying to figure out whether I can use Zapier to create event posts when I add an event to my Google Calendar, and it appears that I can only do this if the plugin provides REST API endpoints or custom fields that Zapier can interact with.

Thank your for your interest. This would be a great feature. I think we’ll add “full wp-rest support” on the roadmap.
For now, you can use the custom meta. An eent is just a post (of any type) with these meta.
