Translation to Swedish

I’m not connected with this plugin in any way, but if Loco still produces only po/mo files, then this might not work for translations that are consumed by Javascript. (Their translations are distributed in json files.)

The easiest way to translate this plugin for both yourself and other WordPress users would probably be to suggest a good Swedish translation at https://translate.www.ads-software.com/projects/wp-plugins/civist/dev/sv/default/ and then I or Fredrik ( @elbogen ) will check it.
It would be great if you start by looking through https://wpsv.se/engagera-dig/stilguide-for-oversattningar/ but for this small plugin that may be overkill.

Thank you for the advice. I have already translated the plugins po/mo file to Swedish so following you link led to the same files I have already translated though. But the forms text probably is consumed by Javascript and distributed in json files then. So how that can be translated is what I am looking for.

@sidkvist Please upload your translation via the “Import” link at the bottom of the page I linked to above.
After a translation editor approves these translations, a Swedish language pack will get built within half an hour, and then becomes available to your site via the “Updates” screen.

Civist uses an external translation service for the plugin and the forms. The forms are only translatable via our translation service. The strings are not available in WordPress. If you want to translate the Civist forms and the verification emails (double opt-in to verify a signature) into Swedish, I invite you to contact our support. We would be very pleased.

To contact our support, please click on the “Civist Support” button on the right side of your screen in your Civist Dashboard (WordPress main menu → Civist Plugin → Dashboard). We will send you all the essential information and an invitation to our translation tool.

Also, please mention how soon you need the Swedish translation available in Civist. Since a plugin release is required, it would be vital to know for pacing the release. Thank you very much ??
