Problem with daylight saving time, registration after giveaway and problem with

    I have several bugs that I have detected using the plugin over the last few days:

    • The plugin doesn’t support daylight saving time (I’m in France). As a result, there’s an hour’s difference between the time programmed in the back office and what’s taken into account in the front office, especially for the start and end of registrations.
    • The countdown to the start of the giveaway remains stuck at 0:00:00 and doesn’t reload the page. Sometimes, even when reloading the page, the registration form doesn’t appear. This may be due to the cache…
    • After the giveaway period has ended, it is still possible to register if we have left a page with the form open. A PHP shield should be added to refuse registrations if the date has passed.

    I’m at your disposal if you need me to improve this great plugin.

    Hi @jonathanlespect thank you for all those inputs.

    I thought I have fixed the DST part but I guess some parts are still there to be fixed. Will need to dig in further to make sure the transitions between DST and regular time work fine.

    I am actually not sure if I redirect the page after countdown. That’s a pretty good idea! Will see to add it in the next update.

    I thought registrations are not available if the giveaway has ended. I’ll see to add a few more “flags” there to check during registration.
