I’m getting the following error message when activating “Redux Framework” plugin and I’m unable to access the WordPress Dashboard. Is there anything you can do to help?

Hi. The Vodi is a premium theme I do not have access to, and therefore I have no way of reproducing the issue. Redux in use with base WordPress themes does not produce such an error.

Try disabling the Vodi theme and activate any base WordPress theme (i.e. Twenty Twenty three). Then activate Redux. I Redux loads without error, then try switching your theme back to Vodi. If the error trigger again, the problem is within the theme. At that point you’ll have to report it to the theme author. We do not support individual themes that use Redux as we have no access to the theme and no way of knowing how the theme author is using Redux.

Please let me know if my suggestion works.

    Hello,

Thanks for your response. I disabled the Vodi Theme and activated the Twenty Twenty One Theme, Redux loaded without errors then I switched back to Vodi it trigged error again. I contacted the theme author but I have not gotten it fix yet.

I just pushed v4.4.3 which does some extra checks on the code giving you issues. It *should* resolve the issue as far as Redux goes. I can’t speak for the theme.

    Hello,

Thank you for your help. I updated to v4.4.3 and I’m getting the following error message.

I cannot reproduce this issue. Obviously, something in the theme is causing this. As it’s a premium theme and I do not have access to it, the theme author will have to debug it to determine if the issue originates in their code. If they’re able to find the issue and they believe Redux is the cause, they’ll have to contact us via our issue tracker and show me the data. They’re also the only ones who can provide me a copy of their theme to work with them on this.

    Sorry I can’t do more.

    Hello,

Thanks for your response. For some reason in the Dashboard, it’s not showing the Vodi theme setting and theme editor. I will contact the theme author again about this issue.

Again, those are theme issues and I can’t help with those. In fact, you shouldn’t even be posting about them in this forum as it’s against WordPress guidelines.

Try this, as I’m wondering if another plugin in interfering. I looked at the author’s author page on TF and I’m not seeing similar issues. Disable ALL plugins. Every one. The theme should still run even if limited ways. Then activate ONLY Redux. Don’t activate any other plugin, even ones that the theme installs and says is required.

Looking at the Redux code where the error occurs, and based on the error itself, it appears the ReduxFramework object which contains the option data isn’t being passed. It makes me wonder if there is a caching plugin interfering, or something similar. Also, if you’d like to post a copy of your Site Health Info (Click TOOLS > SITE HEALTH > click INFO tab and click “Copy site info to clipboard”) and paste that here. Maybe there’s a clue there. I’m also curious to hear what support for your theme has to say.
