• Hi guys

I need to add a custom folder called ‘demo’ to my wordpress site. However, when I try to do this and visit the url it returns a 500 error.

I want to create a folder (with my own files in) to https://www.mydomain.com/demo/

How can this be achieved? Perhaps I need to edit the htaccess file or something?
    Thanks

  • This is something you can easily do from FTP or your host’s web-based control panel. WordPress shouldn’t come in a tall.

But I have this feeling that you left out some essential context of your question ??

What is contained in the demo folder? It’s likely the cause of the 500 error, not the folder itself.
