• Since the recent Polylang update (I’m in the latest version: 3.4.3), when I update my site (for example: update a page and save the change), all my sites’ home pages are broken (and only these pages), it displays “ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS”.

    I found a workareound, on the Polylang plugin settings : click on Languages -> Settings -> settings (under URL modifications) -> Save Changes. This will correct the situation until the next page edition (it is still annoying).

    Hello,

    This is probably coming from a conflict with your theme or a plugin.

    1. Make a clone of your site.
    2. Check if the issue is really coming from the new Polylang version (you can test this by reverting v3.3.3).
    3. If you have some dev skills (composer, etc…) and there is no conflict with v3.3.3 and there is with v3.4.3, then you can also check with the latest master branch available on GitHub (follow the instructions as the plugin must be built).
    4. Identify which theme/plugin is conflicting.
    5. If the error was not present in v3.3.3 and you have determined which theme/plugin is conflicting, then determine the steps to reproduce the error **starting from a fresh install** (this is to guide us to reproduce your issue) and open an issue on Github describing all the steps.

    Hello @chouby ,

    I have a WordPress Multisite, i reverted the Polylang plugin to 3.3.3 and it works again. I’ll leave it like that until a future Polylang update fixes the problem.

    Thank you.

    Our site is also affected with Polylang plugin?v3.4.3. The problem appeared after changing the URL of the site (without saving changes in homepages).

    @velthium, thanks for the workaround!
