• The plugin has so much impact, that it puts thousands of redirects in the site, from around 200 sites we have 5k redirects. Many of these redirects are for the “put into cart” links, these don’t work and customers can’t buy as their products never reach the cart. Also the plugin makes working with the site really hard, as you can’t work on the translated sites directly, you have to go back to the original language site and change stuff there, it is way to unintuitive to work with. Especially the variations, some won’t show up, some won’t change the media but only in the translated site on the original everything works fine.

    Hi @turtlecare,

are you sure that you are reviewing the right software/plugin here? Your critics seem to be related to the WooCommerce plugin and/or multilingual plugins. All of these features/functionality have nothing to do with Germanized, our software.

Germanized does only redirect customers (during cart/checkout) in case you’ve enabled the Double Opt In Feature (which is optional) – no other redirects within the frontend are part of our code.

Could you please check your review and submit a support thread if in doubt?

    Best,
    Dennis
