• Details & Summary helps me integrate a display method that I used to code manually, because it’s ripped apart by the code editor of WordPress.

I’d like to display a summary on pageload. How do I do that?

According to https://wiki.selfhtml.org/wiki/HTML/Tutorials/details#open ist should suffice to add open as additional CSS class. However, thus selected content stays closed.

It would be nice if the open status could be configured within the block editor.

Hi, by default de summary is only shown on page load, so I presume you want the ability to have it opened and display the summary & all the details? The only correct way to do sthat would ideed be a control for the open status at block level in the editor. I am to busy on other projects at the moment to look into it straight away. Have it on my todo list.
