    I have observed that enabling WP All In One Security automatically disables the “Restrict access to files and directories” feature in Plesk’s WP Toolkit. It is likely that WP All In One has a similar feature that conflicts with it.

    Does anyone have experience with this issue and happen to know which option I should disable in WP All In One to allow Plesk’s WP Toolkit to take control?

    Can you please provide me more details? Do it disables whole feature or just gives warning that files are not restricted access ?

    AIOS plugin modifies .htaccess, wp-config.php and user.ini file.

    I have been seeing this issue first time. Plesk WP Toolkit seems using REST API.

    Please try disable below feature of AIOS if enabled It might be creating issue.

    WP security > Miscellaneous > WP REST API the “Disallow unauthorized REST requests:

    Can you please update AIOS to latest and cross check if below fix solves your issue? The wp-config.php etc file after editing are given permission back the original

    FIX: After editing a file reset permissions back to the original permissions
