• Hi.
I have WP v3 installed. Here is my blog: https://www.shahriarnk.com/blog/

In the last 2 days, it got hacked twice – when I accessed the blog, I saw a page with the message “Hacked by hacker…”

As per suggestions in this forum, today I cleaned my PC to get rid of any Trojans, virus etc. and changed my Site Admin password.

Is there any thing else I can do to protect my blog?

Is there anything that my hosting provider can do to save us from this vulnerability?

Any help will save me a lot of stress and pain.
    Thanks.

Set the permissions of all files to 644 and all directories to 755. You should probably implement some (if not all) of the recommended security measures too.

It’s possible. You should at least notify them whenever you’re hacked.

Also use sftp to transfer your files to your server. ask server for a ssh access with ftp.

install a firewall in your system and monitor all outgoing connections.. comodo firewall is a good choice if you want my opinion.

To avoid keyloggers, try and use onscreen keyboard to fill up forms..

Use stats of the site to know who the last visitor was and from which ip.. it will help understand that the hacker tried your server to access your site internally or he accessed your site externally.

    Hope this helps…

I got hacked by the same hacker I think,
Got a picture of an eyeball hacked by Q8 Hacker or something.

I replaced ALL index.php and html files and install Secure WordPress plugin.
Have been safe ever since, although it has only been a week.
