New feature not working

I was excited for custom query loop, because I needed an option to loop through categories and custom taxonomies. However my excitement was quickly killed after the feature dropped. As it turns out, you can’t use taxonomy filter on a loop that is set to template “Post taxonomies”. When you add such taxonomy filter and select loop grid with Post taxonomies, when you want to select a source for filters you receive all PRODUCT taxonomies, despite there not being even a single grid for products on the site. Now the feature can be written off as ‘useless’, what a waste
