    The latest version of the plugin seems to be quite buggy.
    The plugin destroys the design in blog articles, the content page and homepage is not affected and it causes the website to send a status code 500, which is quite harmful for google. This is a pity. I have now deactivated the plugin and replaced it with an alternative.

    Thanks for your feedback, but there’s not much we can do at this point to rectify any issues the plugin might have, which could effect other users as well.

    We have not received any other mentions, so it might be a isolated issue we could resolve.

    If you’re willing to contribute to this effort, even after you have moved on, let me know. Until then, I will put this to resolved.

    @baynado possibly your server does not support webp image generation, which is a pretty standard feature nowadays. We have a version ready which checks if this functionality is available, preventing errors on such servers.

    Would be great if you can check if that was the issue.

    If not, I’d need to see some php logs first to be able to help.

    This feature was added because the 25% smaller webp images on placeholders in combination with our lazy loading feature is great for performance.
