Can’t Publish – Red Dot w Exclamation Point

  • I have two posts (by the same contributor) that I am unable to publish. The “Publish” button has a red dot with an exclamation point inside it. It has existed on other posts as well, but I have been able to publish those. Any idea what causes this and how I can resolve it? I have cleared the cache and restarted my browser.

  • Are you using WordPress’ built-in block editor?

    Or are you using another editor plugin (eg Classic Editor plugin, Gutenberg plugin, or some 3rd-party page builder plugin like Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, etc?

    I’m using the Classic editor. It has worked for all my other posts.
