Hello ! I have a few questions and observations.

    Observations

    • When inputting text for the table the cells on my backend are quite small. Why is it not using more of my screen real estate for managing the table content? Ideally the full width of the backend area?
    • I find no way to format the text in the cells easily. For example, I want to bolden some of the text.

    Styling issues

Please this this help topic for a similar table (not done with WordPress). As you can see, I would like my TablePress version to atleast have the left column greyed the table with all text bold. And, some of the text in the right column is also bold.

I don’t mind that the linework is not visible on the WordPress post.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

The input fields on the “Edit” screen are indeed comparably small, similar to how common spreadsheet software does this. However, you can easily increase the default size via the “Screen Options” tab in the upper right corner of the screen.

Adding basic formatting, including bold font, is possible e.g. in the “Advanced Editor”, which you can open by clicking into the desired cell and then using the button below the input fields, or the right-click context menu, or the Ctrl+E (or cmd+E on a Mac) keyboard shortcut.

Changing the styling of the table (and columns) is possible with “Custom CSS” code. For some examples, please see the TablePress FAQ at https://tablepress.org/faq/regt

    Regards,
    Tobias
