Show grid format first

  • Is there are way that I can have the [events_calendar] shortcode automatically show that grid view instead of the full calendar view?

    I’m using an old event calendar to create a mockup of what I want. This is my current shortcode: [events_calendar long_events=1 long_events=1 show_search=1 has_search=1 views=grid,list year=2021 month=11]
    I’m using the events_calendar shortcode because I need the search function.

    Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated ??

  • I tried it and it doesn’t work. When you use the events_calendar shortcode it always shows the Calendar as the default view. I think this would be a good enhancement to the events_calendar shortcode to allow a default view to be something other than the calendar (or to allow the search bar with the other shortcodes like events_list, and events_grid).

    I think this would be an excellent update to this already great plugin. I’ve gone through and added the shortcode function for grid view that rebelc0de?made, which can be found here. Now I’m just trying to figure out how to add the search bar to it.
