creates an account upon plugin install

  • that’s the most shady marketing practice i’ve seen among WP plugins

    • immediately after installing the plugin, you’re forcibly registered on their platform with the wp’s admin email
    • there is no link or button to delete your account anywhere
    • cherry on top : the “welcome” email contains a password. in cleartext.

    who in their right mind would authorize such practices ? and who in their right mind would think it won’t make people run away immediately ?
