Allow Sub-site Administrator to Map Custom Domain

  • In the old “WordPress MU Domain Mapping” plugin, there was an option for the owner of a subsite to map their own domain. They could go to tools->Domain Mapping and enter their custom domain. it would also provide DNS information for them.

    Since mapping became a core feature in 4.5, I can only find the option to set up a custom domain in the Network Settings as a Super Admin.

    Is there a way to allow the subsite owners to add their own custom domain?
