Loading pictures help

I’m uploading pictures from my computer and they are now coming in without showing the pictures. It just shows as a circle with “edit image” and not the thumbnail picture. I changed the maximum dimensions last night but thought I changed them back appropriately. Now the pictures won’t show in the posts.
