Blank screen when clicking on image attachment thumbnail

  • When an image has been attached to a BBPress forum post the image thumbnail appears underneath the post text and is clickable to open the full size image.

    In the app on clicking the thumbnail just a blank empty page is produced rather than the image.

    However, one nice effect is that the image does appear (though it is not expandable) above the actual forum post as a header image.

    How do we get the full size image to open when we click the thumbnail?

    (Using a web browser on my phone and desktop the image thumbnails open correctly so it is just the app with this issue)

    The page when you load the image is just white?

    You can’t move or unzoom for example?

    Hi Amauri,

    Right!!!! The image does load but it is so big and doesn’t set itself to the mobile screen size.

    The color got me confused because another image I tested was a black screen. It depends on what the image is and its bacground and whether its a portrait or scenery.

    How can we make it responsive to the mobile screen size?

    This is not possible to edit the image viewer, it’s very simple and not really good.

    One solution is to use a lightbox plugin to show the image directly on the app/website without directly loading the image.
