I would like to create some restricted files to protect them from public, non-members’ view (ex “members-only content”). I have a free membership level now. But if I make some restricted content only my recently created PMP users will be able to see them. (Implemented PMPro a couple of months ago.) I have about 4800 existing WP users that will not be able to see the new restricted content. How can I mass-add existing WP users to my free PMP membership level? SQL query? Some other way? (I can read/execute SQL queries but not create them.)

    TIA!

    Hi @ffooccuuss

Thank you for reaching out to Paid Memberships Pro.

Do these existing users have an active membership level or are they only users and don’t have any membership level?

There is a few ways to achieve this:

    1. SQL query is great for developers that prefer a coded solution.
    2. The Developer’s Toolkit allows you to bulk change members from level X to level Y.
    3. The Import Users From CSV Integration allows you to bulk update members (or insert new members) via CSV.

I hope this helps get you started.
